where did May go?

I can't believe it's nearly June and winter. Where did the first 5 months of the year go? What have I achieved? Bugger all really, but then that's par for the course.
I decided to have another go at scrapbooking - this time a scrapbook of my parent's visit to New Zealand. For help and inspiration, I signed up for a class at the local college. All I can say is that I'm glad it's only 4 weeks long. The first week we were told to bring along some photos and $5 for materials. So we all turned up with those things only to find that the "teacher" had no paper for us to use. The material charge was to cover non-consumables, so I'm feeling a bit ripped off. Also, she doesn't teach - just showed us her gear and explained a bit about it, then left us to get on with it. On the upside, at least it is 2 hours away from everything else that I can concentrate on my book.
I still haven't worn the dreaded poncho and the wallpaper is still not stripped. The house needs a good clean and all the doors need repainting and the garden's a mess and I still have 20-odd episodes of Roswell to watch. I am however up to date with subs bills for the Guides, so go me!
It's all too much - I'm going back to bed!

You can probably get all the inspiration you need from scrapbooking books at the library.

I saw a really good one on scrapbooking travel photos, which inspired me to do one on one of my overseas trips. Although in the end the only scrapbook-y thing about my scrapbook is the handmade paper on the covers.
